Tomtom top marks for customer service

We've had a Tomtom one for about three years now, and I've been pretty pleased with it. Only problem has been the mount which isn't strong enough, as it tends to fall off the windscreen.

But a while back it stopped working, and I deduced that it was the powerswitch itself that was the problem. Paper clips really do have thousands of uses! I tried too repair it myself, but the switch is so tiny I couldn't.

So I sent it back to Tomtom to get a quote for repair.  They posted me a freepost Special Delivery envelope to put it in. And a week and a day later I have a reconditioned one. All for free!

Amazing. Especially since I've heard nothing except negativity regarding Tomtom's customer service. Maybe they've changed though.


The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
