Woo hoo new car
« on: June 13, 2010, 10:32:11 am »
After weeks of frustrating visits to dealerships, @hole sales monkeys who don't call back, don't know their products and cannot do even the most basic elements of their jobs we got ourselves a nearly new 09 mini Cooper  :happy2:

Pics will follow at the end of the week, it's to be my wifes car.... Full leather, cruise, visibility pack, Bluetooth, dab, climate control, xenons, chilli pack, auto dimming mirrors, auto lights etc. As new 7k on the clock one owner totally minted.

Invoiced new it was .... Wait for it.... £22.5k for a mini!!! Paid £15.5k cracking deal I think. All minis get 5 years servicing included too  :drinking:

Hopefully to be collected at the end of this week.

Same garage had a lovely 2007 ed30 but way over priced at £19000!  :fighting: :happy2:

Sounds nice, did you but it approved used? They get 2 years warranty for a certain time don't they? Doesn't matter for you anyway with the manufacturers warranty.

No I'm keeping the GTI. This is for my wife.

Non BMW garage sale. Were it in a franchised dealer it would easily have been £18k.

Through this process I was constantly shocked and appalled by sales monkeys complete grasp of the fundamentals. They must be paying terrible salaries out there to get people so switched off.  :fighting:

Great deal congrats on the buy it's worth all the pain and frustration when you seal the right deal. But seriously over priced when new like you said.
