Another GTI to be released into the wild...

Been a long time since I've seen it looking like this. Sorry about the poxy iphone pics, but it's raining now!!

Still have to remove the plate/LEDs/open fogs/Anni badge/carbon badge but she's pretty much ready to go. The polisher has been over every square inch of the car, I've not seen new ones as clean!!

I'd also forgotten just how nice they are to drive in standard form, obviously the running gear has only done about 10k so its as tight as a drum, but it really is fantastic. No wonder they won so many awards for best hot hatch.

Great car, I've really enjoyed owning it.

Ha ha.

I haven't found anything yet, so I'm just going to (carefully) run around in standard trim until I see exactly what I want, no real rush as it doesn't owe me anything and I've enough saved to buy the new one and sell this afterwards.

Unless I get an offer, then I suppose I'll just make do with the Volvo to slush about in.

It'll be Germanic and 6 potted though, don't you worry!!
