these flags annoying anybody else!! dude on my street got 9 on his car!! dont get me wrong i am in a minority in that i dont follow football although i will have to watch it as my girlfriend wants to but my street is like an advert for bnp! rant over! and no jokes about up north

..........i'm with you  mate,can't stand football.They were on about those flags on the radio the other day & 1 flag can reduce petrol consumption by 3-5 mpg.

I personally don't fly a flag because I'm not to bothered by football, but can someone explain to me why flying an English flag is racist? 

I do get quite annoyed by ridiculous comments like that!

I'm all for the flags. It makes me see red when Ireland can fly the flag, Scotland can fly the flag, Wales can fly the flag, but as soon as you see an England flag everyone screams "BNP - Racist!"

It is about Bl**dy time that England took pride in it's own flag, just like
everyone else can.

It's one thing to be proud of your nation's flag but too many people don't know how to respect it or when it's appropriate to fly.

I can see how it's showing support for England in their World Cup efforts but it's only a feckin' football competition.

I have been honoured to be an invited flag bearer on several ceremonial occasions and think it cheapens/devalues it to fly on cars.
