Bits needed
« on: June 14, 2010, 06:41:26 pm »
i currently have the bog standard cd player, wondering if there is something to do for an mp3 player ? dont like using the FM type thing due to sound quality. is there a cable i can fit ? is the aux on the unit ?

also after a stubby aerial, original if possible.

does anyone know how easy it is to fit an arm rest ? would like to have one but not sure how easy it is to fit one. original obviously

i am also looking for a kit that changes all the lights ie number plate, interior lights to bright white

can any one point me in the right direction ?

cheers

Firstly, welcome to the forum  :happy2:

You'd be after white LED kits for the car. You MUST make sure that they are the ones with the built-in resistors otherwise the car will flag up faulty bulbs.

If it's an RCD300, the easiest thing to do is to take it out and replace with something good. Even if you plaster up the hole in the dash, you'll get a better sound!!

There is an official ipod connection, but (a) it's expensive, and (b) crap.

Stubby aerials - there's LOADS on Ebay :happy2:

Armrest - can't help as mine had one in it.

All the best,

Dan
