I'm a new boy on the block so go easy on me chaps.......

Throwing a wild card into the pot & not a GTI owner yet, I have had Kuhmo KU31's on my S-Line 2.0TDI A4 for the past 11k & there is still loads of life in them & not be sniffed at £72 a corner for 235/40 x 18" HL.

The car had conti's when new & then I fitted GY assey. The KU's are up with them on dry grip although the dash does look like a christmas tree when the roads are really greasey.

I know the A4 is an oil burner but it is a torquey engine all the same, although I would think bo where near a GTI.

My other toy is a Westfield which is knocking out 173bhp at the back wheels, so I can appreciate power & how varrious tyres suit different cars.

Well thats post no 4 (i think)

ta & go easy

I didn't like Kumhos when I had them on, I had the Ecstas (sp?) and found their wet grip wasn't very good.
