Had the engine delivered yesterday, here's some pictures;









Was lifted out of a 58 plate GTI with 10k on the clock  :happy2:

3 Door was around 1100kg

A good 300kg lighter than a vRS :surprised: :surprised:

thats insane.  BWA engines can be picked up for about 1k and less now. 

250Bhp+/ton power to weight with practically no lag

@ the OP.

how much custom work is required to fit this engine?

@ carl  id love to, but i dont have the time for a project like this.
