New Front Tires - Essex Area
« on: June 17, 2010, 10:12:51 am »
The dreaded time has come for me to replace tires on the car.  I have been hoping that the time would not come as the wheels are in mint condition.

I'm going to keep to the same michelins the car comes with.

Main thing is advise on what people have done in the past as my Monza's are in mint condition with no marks.  I am in the essex area and wondered if anyone knew of a good place to go to?

I'm happier to pay a bit extra for someone to take good care when changing them over.  Really hoping to avoid the tyre leaver marks or genral damage some tyre changing places can do

I was thinking of using the local dealer who are pretty decent and take care and if they did damage them I was wondering if i'm in a stronger position for them to change them?

No mailorder unfortunately mate, and yeah membership to Costco is required at £29 annually, well worth it for the tyre offer alone never mind the hotdogs! nom nom..

Thanks for the recommendation guys.  Got the front tyres replaced there on Sat and could not be happier with the service.

They even checked the car over with me before they changed the tyres.

Mightly impressed by there service.
