Very nice uncomplicated design. I had a good look at some the other day on a Cupra.

Just out of curiosity do you know what they weigh (without tyres)? Cos they look fairly lightweight.

That they are Robin  :happy2: That's exactly what I like about them. They're also easier to clean than the splits by a country mile, plus as mentioned they're also lighter and I've gained an inch extra rear track combined over the 7.5J splits.

Whatever I get next is all but going to be a VAG vehicle and it's very very likely to be 5x112, so these will be a long term purchase I feel. Change of car is a little way off yet.

Look good mate, nice and motorsporty!

I really need xenons in my life :sad1:

Thanks Cal.
Not gonna lie mate, you do re. the Xenons. They're one of my favourite retrofits  :jumping:

I drive with them on throughout the day as I've got no cool DRLs like some people  :ashamed:

Are you not trying the ebay centre caps then, Pete?

Couldn't get the Speedline caps out Si

Going to have a careful go with a screwdriver in shortly, but they're in so tight I gave up as I didn't wanna do any damage.
I'll post pics up once they're out and the VW ones are in.

Got yours yet?
Pete

Yeah, they're on and VW'd. Bought the sticky ones and fitted them to the original caps. They snap in quite violently, so I suspect it's a wheel off job to remove one again!

Yes, banging (gently) them out from behind will do the trick rather than risk alloy surface damage.

A quickie sans centre caps.

Had nowt but rain since they went on and this is a phone pic I sent to a mate via MMS, hence the poor quality.

(hope you don't mind a pic of my car in your photo thread, Pete? Just say and I'll edit it out!)

You need to do a build thread  :drinking:

Seem to look smaller on my car for some reason. I wonder whether your lower suspension is what makes the difference?

 :signLOL:   :signLOL:

For once I didn't realise what I'd written! *cough* You only need to be gentle when you start your banging

^ Oh I bet

Hmm, Maybe.

They look very similar to me, plus the colour and bumper difference might make it appear differently. TBH I was hoping for another 5mm or so at the back but I really cba to change the springs now after all that.

Silver on Blue will look ace lowered Si  :happy2: How much will you drop if you do?

You're a gent Steve  :happy2: Thanks.
If it wasn't for your AP's & ED30 as the example to me, I probably wouldn't have tapped it with the lowering stick  :scared:

I feared the springs wouldn't be practical enough for me with the roman roads and speed bumps around me, but they really worked out well and enhanced the ride very well.
Pete
