Do you have to select Aux on the CD player ?  I do on mine if I use the Aux connection for my MP3 player, not sure if it''s the same for the Ipod connection though.

Worth a try. :happy2:

Select CD and press it twice, should then select AUX

Mine sometimes can be a bit picky....try selecting the radio then pressing cd twice. You'll know when it's connected by a dull "bong" and cd6 will be selected ie the ipod.

As a side note anybody know if there is a lead that will connect from the armrest to an ipod touch so my other half can use the ipod touch as a remote to set whatever song we like?

When I bought my car the ipod thingy was broken and the dealer had to replace it.  A search I did at the time showed this to be a fairly common problem - they seem to be pretty fragile.  If you got a warranty just sling it back to them to sort out.  You could try the basics like making sure the leads are plugged in properly at the bottom of the ipod unit and at the back of the stereo.  Pulling the stereo out isn't difficult as such but it a bit of ballache ...

Mine went kaput about 2 months ago, replaced under warranty no probs.  :happy2:

At the same time my Ipod broke as wel,l and also my B&H dock gave up the ghost.  :chicken:

I think their would very high odds indeed on such luck, but it happened to me.  :sad1:

Have you remembered to copy the audio files into your `on the go` folders within itunes before syncing? As these are the only files that you can play, If the tunes are not in those files the head unit can neither recognise nor play them.

Sorry, Just re-read the manual, CD1-5 are for the first 5 playlists stored on the ipod (as listed in alphabetical order) and CD6 will play all tunes strored on the device.

Apologies for the duff info.

Try pressing CD twice.
