Iphone 4 antennas

Anyone having the iphone 4 antenna/reception issues when holding the phone and bridging the gap between antennas on the lower left corner of the handset?

Also what's wifi performance like? I hear wifi is worse then 3Gs?

Some interesting stories surfacing already about issues with reception when holding the phone. Cost of being an early adopter, I'll certainly be waiting a while..

You can noticably see the bars move down from full to a couple...I havent manged to cut anyone off though.

I have heard that this can be similarly noticed in other phones ...but tbh I am not sure.

Simple answer, hold it differently or stick a rubber band round it...or to line Steve Jobs pockets some more...just buy a bumper.

Wifi is perfect on mine, i do notice the bar dropping when in the house and holding in certain ways, but outside the house its full bars, i dare say that when it drops it still only drops to what the 3gs was when i used it in same area

Nice story from BBC News. It seems that you have to 'hold the iphone a certain way'. :stupid:

Apparently it may now be an iOS4 issue as someone has posted a video on YouTube of a 3GS doing the same thing

D'oh, guilty.

After the latest software update (4.0) I see no reason to part with the 3GS

Yeah but at least the 3G has the antenna in a better location!
