Well I definitely wasn't prepared to stand in the saddo queue yesterday and Vodafone screwed up my online order so now I have to wait for the second batch. That means a two week wait by the looks of it - Brilliant.

Oh well, maybe the antenna issue will be fixed on these units? Even so, I was going to fit it with a bumper anyway and surely that must fix the problem?

^^^^

Yes fitting any kind of case cures it apparently. This could be the reason i am not experiencing anything as i fitted mine with a Zagg Max Protection Invisishield pretty much as soon as i had got it.

I'm not having any problems with mine and I do tend to cup the phone around the bottom when holding it. If anything the reception has improved. Can't stand having a case on phones - you don't buy the best Italian leather sofa then wrap it in cellophane.

i'll be the first on here to say mine is a bit iffy... only seems to effect 3g signal when sat in my office in central london - 5bars when sat on the desk i'll pick it up by the sides and it drops to 1bar then 3g drops off and it switches to E.. not quite what I expected from a £600 phone

athough when outside it seems pretty stable, anyhow im still very impressed with it just can't believe how fast it is especially the internet, browsing the web is quicker than my laptop

im now just patiently waiting for OSIR to come out with a new sexy carbon case to wrap it in and then im sure the reception will be fixed

great phone  :happy2:

I too am waiting for the OSIR Carbon Case for it.

I would recommend an Invisishield though. Just for the extra protection

I have the issue with typing on the iphone 3gs. When in PMs the cursor disappears and a line of text disappears until I hit return and the line moves up and becomes visible.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
