moon photography...
« on: June 25, 2010, 10:33:03 am »
Ive read quite a few times that taking pictures of the moon is quite hard and that pics come out really blurry. Iv just come back from a hol in egypt and whilst there I snapped these, am i just lucky or is it not really that hard?

Still looks blurry tho?
Was you using a tripod and remote for the shutter? I'm pretty sure i've got some sharper ones with my camera.

If you're just pointing the camera up and taking a picture, you're going to end up with camera shake from when you fire the shutter. You need to use a tripod and a remote.
Then, taking long exposure shots of the moon or other celestial bodies, you're going to have to compensate for the rotation of the earth.
