Which wax do you guys use on your 18" Monzas?

I use Autoglym HD wax on the bodywork, is it ok to use it on the alloys also.
Or is there a wax specifically for alloys wheels that you recommend?

Ive heard talk of a Poorboys wax for the wheels, but i dont know if its much different to what you'd use otherwise.
I was intending to use the collinite i've got on the wheels when i finally get around to doing the car

You can use your HD wax there are some specific wheel waxes available such as poorboys wheel sealant and wheel wax but to be honest i dont get any difference from using these compared to normal wax. Apparently these waxes are designed to work under the higher temps your wheels would get.

If you want a top job take the wheels off the car and wash inside and out and remove any tar spots with AG intensive tar remover.
Dry off then apply a couple of coats of jet seal inside and out and buff off.
Then apply a couple of good coats of something like rim wax and buff to a shine. May sound alot of messing around but will save you a whole heap of time and effort cleaning your rims in the future

i use Swissvax cleaner fluid followed by autobahn (applied by hand) not only does it smell amazing the shine lasts

Wash, clay and polish the rims. Then use a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealant and a couple of coats of collinite 476s.

As some people have already said, you can use the HD wax on the wheels (in fact you can use any Carnauba wax or sealant on wheels), however, the benefit of using a dedicated wheel wax or sealant is that it's designed specifically to resist the harsher conditions wheels are subjected to, such as hotter tempteratures and hot brake dust.

Poorboys Wheel Sealant is a good one to use, as is Rimwax Wheel Wax.  Both are easy to use and give a long lasting shine that should be topped up once a month or so for maximum protection.

Alternatively, we do our own wheel sealant that's excellent for the wheels.  It's a new formula, which is easier to use than our first formula was and also achieves a much wetter, glossier finish than before.

June was pretty much a complete right-off for us!  We've both had our laptops pack up, we're on our third printer since the beginning of the month, the router packed up... the list of technology nightmares goes on!!!  As well as trying to get all of that sorted out, we had a million and one orders to pack, which were difficult to do because we didn’t have e mail working properly, couldn't get online, couldn't access our shop admin section, and so on and so on!!! 

We're both back up and running now though with shiny new computers  and after many, many nights of finishing at two a.m, we're all caught up and back into the swing of things!

Bit of a nightmare to report with the towels as well... we haven't got any and haven't had any since around April    We've got massive issues with our manufacturer and as a result we've had to source alternatives to stock.

We tried and tested loads of samples but weren't really very pleased with any of them, until we came across one in particular which performed really well and really impressed us... it's called the Big Blue Drying Towel and whilst it's not as thick and fluffy as the Super Plush, is it much larger in size, so absorbency is still excellent.  They wash really well in the washing machine with normal detergent and don't lose of any of their absorbency at all.

We are still battling on with our manufacturer and we are still hopefull that we'll have the Super Plush back in stock, but for the time being it's either the Big Blue or a Sonus Der Wonder that we have to offer.

Used Jetseal 109 as a sealant on my wheels which works a treat.

I use klase and a Couple of coats of carnuba wax on top!
