Your throttle angle looks like it isnt WOT all the way through the run, when I logged mine I had 99.6% all the way through if it was planted.

Your peak air intake equates to about 227 bhp, assuming you dont have any modifications then thats about right for an ED30 intake air /0.8.

And mines a standard K03 and once the turbo has finished spooling, you generally see a peak of boost above specified, and I guess this would be greater with a K04 turbo.

do you have a longer run from around 1700rpm upto the redline?

Joe, when you did these logs with Ben, di you have your foot planted to the floor?  As the throttle angle isnt right if you did it should be a constant 99.6% this could be causing the strange boost, as the ECU will be thinking you keep on backing off.  I know you can do a throttle body alignment via VCDS, not sure if this might help?  from memorry there is something on the ross tech wiki about it.

Yeah the throttle is only showing partially open, and isnt constant, just looking at what you have posted above.  If ben had your pedal in the carpet then think it could be worth doing a throttle body alignment as per my earlier post!

And if that is just 50% throttle the figures actually look rather good 200g/s divided by 0.81 would be in the region of 247hp at half throttle

Also the boost looks fine to me, from the logs ive seen of mine and others you always see a peak at the maximum actual boost, and then it backs off.  Importantly it is at or just above specified so looks to be fine.  Do you have any further raw data happy to chop it up for you if there is more than one run for comparison.

so what figure\'s would you be expecting at 100%?

who knows how to do a throttle alignment?? am willing to travel!

also will this cause the boost spike?

do you think this would need to be re\'aligned after a engine conversion?
