Is this a service people would be interested in
« on: July 01, 2010, 07:11:44 pm »
Well me and the guys have taken some of our trimming skills and thought we could apply it to this carbon vinyl and the results have been great so it would be a service we could put together to cator for you guys. Obvioulsy knowing the mk 5likethe back of my hand i'm hoping we can be pretty competitve with prices if ayone would want anything done.

we will live up to our same reputation and nothing will leave the door witout being 100%

Heres a few parts that we have done over the last couple of days. I'll add more bits as we get through them

Hope you like.

Luke how much for the roof doing, no sunroof but the roof has some damage not noticable to the roaming eye. I was thinking urban camo? To camoflage the dents? :happy2:

Cheers

The only problem with doing a mk 5 roof is the fact there are no roof gutters so you will always be left with a raw edge which i personally (could be really wrong and well off the mark here) don't think that it could ever be finished 110%.

I mean yes we could cut it straight along the swage line, im guessing this is what everyone else would have to do, but just don't think it'd gel with the car if that makes sence.

.
Raccoon did my Recaro backs but didn't do so as well as yours around the slots as far as I can tell. They've closed their local branch now and don't know what the company is doing.. Probably just a franchise.

Pity I didn't realise who you were when talking to big Pete @ Forge @ Inters.. I would have introduced myself.

Ahh thats alright mate hopefully catch up at another show or something. Big pete is a legend lol.

The seats did take 2 attempts to get perfect around the slots but thats how we work if it isn't right it's off and in the bin and we start again lol. Maybe not the best for early retirement ha ha but at least the client leaves with a smile. Crazy thing is them seats are off across the pond soon once we have finished with them.
