I have my Parrot just above the light switch:

I have to say it makes a great place to hang Jelly Bellys off of

Mandy, I was interested in putting it on the right side of dash like your, however I sit quite far back and have the steering wheel at full extension which would obscure the display.

So it has to be the center console but, I would like to have it up closer to eye level, whats the thoughts about putting just above the radio and below the hazzard warning light button.

Sorry cannot get appear to attach a pic. Don't know what's wrong

Above the radio and under the hazard warning switch.

That's where I had my iMK9200 placed and it works fine.

Easy to read and still have access to the hazard warning light.

Depends on you....

Remote placed below the gearstick and there is no problem with its signal between the two.

It's better to have Raced once in your life than be a Spectator for all of it.

I think you should be able to get away with putting it under the hazard switch.

Saying that though, my unit is smaller in height compared to some other Parrot units so I don't know if there is a chance you could restrict access to the hazard light (depending on unit).

Think I might get me one of these babies, is there a preferred model? Do they mute the stereo? I've got the mfd2 and the mfsw I take it they won't integrate? (reckon I won't go to £500 for the rns510).

I put mine on top of the dash, right had corner at base of the pillar, is out the way and I can see it without taking my eyes off the road, v important when you are using the address book / last numbers facility, would be no good for me having to peer down into the centre consol for the display, anyway my centre consol is full up behind with wiring for my laser electric gates  opener ;-) only problem is the wretched thing keeps going off when the police are lasering , as I always forget to trun it off when I am not opening my electric gates! must change the switch so it is always off and only on when I am opening my gates
