Dealer sticker

I am planning to finally get rid of the dealer sticker on the rear window (after 2 years of having the car!) I know I should have done this on day 1 but just havent got around to it! I know there have been a few threads about what is the best way of removing these stickers but just wanted to check and see what peoples opinions are... is nail polish remover the best to get rid of the glue left behind, and will this do any damage to the heated elements on the window?

I'm planning on doing this also,
I've got a large dealer sticker nearly halfway up the window...WTF were they  thinking,
Anyway i've heard you can just peel of the sticker and then clean of the residue with either hand cream or white spirit.
I'd like to know the best method.

I took mine out before i drove away from the dealers, mostly because it took up most of my already small rocco rear window    , anyway remove it slowly and residue can be removed with a tar and glue remover

Use a Stanley knife blade to remove the sticker. Keep the blade flat to
the glass and it will come up easily then just use a bit of glass cleaner

Or wait for a really HOT day and then peel it off

Mine peeled off quite easily. Then used a glass cloth and Autoglym Fast Glass to scrub the area and wipe clean.

Thanks for all the advice! I assume spirit or the various liquids mentioned will not do any damage to the heating elements on the screen?

Wont leave much if any residue...just pull the bugger off.
