....Don't drive it as an auto! Pop it into M-mode and think manual and paddle shift exactly when you would in a conventional manual. Use D-mode for traffic queues and 30/40 mph urban cruising. Experiment switching between all modes including S. It's a learning curve but after 1,000 miles or so you'll grow to love it.

Its just turned me lazy! its going to take some getting used to mind. I seem to have an invisible clutch peadle all the time?
The 's' mode seems a bit much for around town. feels like I'm killing the car every change. Do all the dsgs have launch control?
I'm going to try to get used to the dsg first, then go down to revo. Do I need to change diverter valves etc, or are the oem ones better than the mk4s? Also thinking about the forge twintake, rns 510....... I said I wasnt going to do anything to this car aswell?!I'll end up with exhaust, fuel pump , stage 2+ within a year no doubt. then I've got DaveB telling me that my standard brakes are useless, I need to buy bigger ones off him again....
What are the dsg gearboxes like coping with extra power then? will I end up upgrading or not? I know pretty much everything about mk4s, but just decided to move up a mk without any research!
