Yes hello and welcome to the forum!!!!!!!!!
Like I said, It took me a few days to completely strip my mk4, in between I have been dealing with people selling parts off it etc And I did state I would take pics after I have done a full detailing session on it with my machine polishers etc, which will happen next week when I am off work through the day. I am working from 6.30am- 5pm everyday this week, so sorry for not getting my camera out just as yet, but in the mean time I have had people around to test drive my car, sold 3 bumpers, brakes, etc etc. and I also have a 5 year old daughter to look after
Put it this way, I havent received any V5 document yet, so I've been staying low profile, incase some previous owner doesnt send it off.
And here comes the sh1t storm!!!!!!!!!!
For example if I had put an offer in last weekend, and was then asked when to come down and have a look at the car, then did a 4 hour round trip to have a look at a car, and then said I would buy the car, and then made arrangements and booked a train journey to collect the car. How does that make me a bad person? I might of paid £100 less than originally offered, due to a damaged alloy wheel, but in no way was I doing any bidding for christ sake, I might have been told there were other people interested, but I did the same thing to the bloke that just bought my car!!!!
If he is that bothered about the car, he can have it! I would prefer a 3dr with a manual gearbox anyway.
And if you check your facts, there was a white 5dr dsg with xenons for sale at stratstones 3 miles away, and a white 5dr 5 miles away at a local audi garage.
I just was just waiting for my V5 to come back before I came out with it, just in case kit candy held it back, especially after the badgering I got straight away of youse lot. I must have made an initial better offer than he did I suppose, which was more than I wanted to spend really, but wasnt aware that there was any other serious interest in the car, so my apologies.
