Steering wheel removal.

Any info on steering wheel/airbag removal,
to fit aftermarket wheel and boss kit.

I take it you want to do away with the airbag ?.

Yes, I intend to fit an OMP wheel
and boss and remove the airbag.
Any info would be appreciated....... :happy2:

 I changed the steering wheel on my last car ( still kept air bag) & it was easy. I just found the fuse for the srs system & removed it (no fuse,no chance of any air bag going off).
Found the two screws round the back of the steering wheel which holds air bag onto the wheel & removed these. Remove air bag from wheel & disconect electrical cable. Remove the nut holding steering wheel &  get a good grip on wheel spokes & it should come off.
I think you will be stuck with the air bag warning light on tho ?.
