Rns510 question
« on: July 03, 2010, 07:08:35 pm »
Hi,
Might seem Like a daft question but if I put a cd in can I save it to the hard drive? If so how? I don't have a manual so just trying to get used to it. Also I thought that the track name and artist info is displayed however it just says track 1, track 2 etc when I put a cd in.
Thanks for your help guys.

Ps , Are you trying to load a cd with mp3's on it ?, or is it a normal cd, you can't burn a normal cd onto the RNS

You can only copy MP3 data cds to the hard disc, you can't copy normal cds

If its a nomal cd then it won't have the track info required to display on the display so you will only see track 1, 2 etc

You can use iTunes to convert a CD to MP3s IF you select the correct conversion don't let iTunes use its default conversion type, and it should pick up the track names from the internet

Right I see. Yes they were normal CDs that will be why. Yeah when I click on the link it says it's stopped responding and it will find a solution online. It's prob my computer! So if I put an mp3 cd in how do I then load it onto the harddrive? Thanks for your help fella.

When you browse the mp3 cd, you will get an option to Play or Copy to HDD

Try this Skoda version of the manual, its more upto date than the VW version
