Milanza hero tyres????
« on: July 13, 2010, 05:44:25 pm »
I've had my mk5 gti about 3 weeks now- loving every minute! Just noticed though the tyres that are on are the milanza hero's, now I'm no tyre expert however I've never heard of these and I'm guessing they're sh*t. Don't get me wrong I've not had any issues with the handling, however I want to know how much I'm missing out? How does it effect the car if you have rubbish tyres on? Thanks guys.

Understeers, wheel spins badly and steering loses feeling, get some good rubber on there!

I guess any tyre with the word 'hero' in the name, arn't very good  :signLOL:
Laser Blue with K04 power, APR hardware controlled by REVO 2+ software
Chassis by KW V3's, Whiteline and a hint of PRO race 1.2's
Brakes by Brembo 4 pots

:signLOL: I thought I'd never heard of them! Like I said I'm not an expert so just wanted to make sure! I guess I'll be getting some new rubber then. It'll be interesting to see the difference.

Michelin PS3's seem to be flavour of the month and are getting some excellent reports!

What you have sounds like a budget tyre, not something I'd run on a car with 200+ BHP!  :scared:
