Well after years of trying myself to keep on top of it we actually get a comapany called Greenthumb in, they treat the lawn in the late winter/spring with a feed and weed killer and then pop out a further two times over the summer to feed it, then in the autumn they come out again and treat it with awee killer and feed.  Late autum and spring I scarify the lawn myself with an electric scarifier. :happy2:

The lawn was also tyne spiked this spring too, looked like a thousand dogs had poohed on it... :chicken:
Cheers,

Wayne

There's some hard work gone in to those gardens, look fantastic. Plants take so long to grow and mature, very difficult to visualise the end result when planning something.

....I can't be arsed with all the 'prim and proper' stuff either.. I just strim the grass with a petrol Stihl when it gets about 2ft high and let it lie where it falls. I prefer to encourage the wildlife and for me there's no such thing as a weed - Every plant has its own beauty and validity.

^ Mint running riot as it does (I use it when steaming vegetables), plus some blue flowers have unexpectedly appeared.

^ I love the way you have extended the house into the outside :notworthy: - Very continental, and you've also done it with such great style.
