Stereo Removal Help Required

Before i get shot down !!!!


I have searched the website but can only find a how to on placing the gps antena !

I am rubbish with doing things myself and am scared shi*less about damaging the dash, is there a how to guide on stereo removal specifically the facia anywhere??

Also do I need to Vag the car or something once fitted or is it plug and play.

I have midline in my car not high line !

This was the guide I used for mine  :happy2:

I installed a MFD2 and no coding was necessary, I believe it will be generating fault codes until it is coded in but they are harmless and don't affect anything.  I have the midline display as well so coding wasn't necessary.  If I'd had the highline I'd have needed to code it in to get the nav instructions on the display. 

Not too sure about the RNS510 but I imagine its the same.
