Just a quick question what do you guys recomend as the best coilovers for the gti had my 08 tornado gti for 3 weeks and got the lowering bug already  :driver: also anybody heard of jp exhausts in macclesfield, if so would you reccomend.  :notworthy:

Eibach pro street is a very very good kit, as is the Bilstein PSS range.

Sorry budget is around £800 for coilys and £500 for exhaust.   :sad1:

I would definitely look at the Pro-street kit at that price (approx £750) and as for the exhaust, Milltek is superb on the MK5.

KW V2's are about that price if you shop around, i had them on before my clubsports and the are ace. Ride is not to firm very similar to stock feel but work far better.  :happy2:

see id do it differently! £460 ap's or £520 witec's for coilovers. leaves enough cash for a turboback exhaust :D

with a turbo back system will i need extra wedge for a performance cat or does this include cat/de-cat.

Herd that the pro streets are cr@p and you carnt go wrong with AP's, you can also get the fully adjustable ones well within your budget and probably have enough for a turbo back exhaust which does inlcude the downpipe, sport cat/decat and cat-back.

spool would be alot quicker and would allow you to map straight to stage 2.

noise would be alot better.

blueflame...i think with forum discount comes in £800ish maybe £850

Just got a set of Eibach pro street coilovers for the 30   looking at them they look a good bit of kit :happy2: Plus the shocks are made by Kw and also look the same as the kw v1 kit  :smiley:

FK Konigsports, 630 delivered from venom, definately comfiest coilovers ive had, go savagely low and have adjustable dampning on Koni shocks!! :happy2:
