Beat an R32 Turbo today ... We cant figure out why

400bhp in a 4wd isn't the same as 400bhp in a FWD. The drivetrain losses are quite a bit bigger with a 4WD, so it may well be that the R32 has less horsies to the floor than a tuned ED30. Also figure into the equation that an R32 is a good 100-150kg heavier than an ED30 and it becomes a closer call than you'd think.

I went up against the JBS 440bhp R32 and he lost to 60mph and to the finish line. James said that he screwed the change to 3rd, but I'd already got him beat by then

That is true also, when rolling running agai nst my mate with his sportec remapped TTRS we are dead even, shame I cant share vids.

No NOS and only setting 3 on the timing for me.

Thats my point about how ridiculous these threads are, there are so many variables that you simply cant make a comparison, so its just a willy waving thread. 

In fact the only way you could really use it as a comparison if it was on a official track with timing equipment. 
OH! hang on when i beat the ED30 it was measured and timed.

I didnt post to see whos car is faster, was looking for some advice

Methinks he should try getting his money back or go back to the tuner to get it sorted as there is plainly something amiss!

Its booked in on the 27th now so wont be long and we should find out what went wrong. They said they will check the car over and do some data logging before they work on it and add stage two and the clutch
