I too would also like to say a massive massive thank you to Darren for helping me out over the past couple of weeks. He’s sorted me out (& fitted in no time) a RNS510 and has also been helping me with retrofitting folding mirrors – which has been a total nightmare but Darren has been a star on several occasions and I can’t thank him enough for all his help. All in all, an around top bloke. Cheers Darren

Well, good and bad! In theory it's pretty simple - you just need new mirrors (eBay),  new mirror switch (eBay) & new door controllers, inside the door that the mirrors plug into (VW dealer but eBay if you are very lucky!) and then you just need to code the controllers to do the folding mirrors. This is the bit that Darren is finding tricky cos I've had to buy new (MK6) ones from the dealer which seem to be a bit different to code than the older (MK5) ones. So I have now retrofitted the mirrors and they do fold, but the ambient lights underneath and heater don't work - well, as in Darren can't figure out the right code to get them to work with out disabling the rear doors
