400bhp in a 4wd isn't the same as 400bhp in a FWD. The drivetrain losses are quite a bit bigger with a 4WD, so it may well be that the R32 has less horsies to the floor than a tuned ED30. Also figure into the equation that an R32 is a good 100-150kg heavier than an ED30 and it becomes a closer call than you'd think. I went up against the JBS 440bhp R32 and he lost to 60mph and to the finish line. James said that he screwed the change to 3rd, but I'd already got him beat by then
