Shorter drop links required when lowered?
« on: July 15, 2010, 11:10:51 am »
Hi,

I have a MKII TT lowered on KW V2 coilovers and am getting some clunking sounds from the front left suspension when going over bumps with a lock on.

I had a look and this is what I can see is happening. The drop link and front arb seem to be hitting other components. The top of the drop link is hitting/rubing against a plastic shield and the arb against the Xenon leveler.

I think I need some adjustable/shorter drop links but haven't heard of this much with other TT's or GTI's. Has anyone else on here had a similar problem? And does anyone know of any adjustable drop links available for the MKV GTI.

Here is a pic of what is happening.
