R Pad Retaining clips
« on: July 15, 2010, 12:33:11 pm »
Some will call me a tight git but does anyone have the p/n for these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320557791665&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

I'd imagine they'd only be a pound or two from the dealer (which I'm calling in at this afternoon), they're not that helpful for searching for things like this hence the post here.

Just come back from the dealers and they quoted £13.69  :surprised: each although I'm not sure they were looking at the right part. The P/N they quoted was V4F0 615 269.

Those are the ones, look good on your VRS. Did you get them from the same ebay seller?

I take it you have to have R32 brakes for these to fit?

I would imagine so as the Caliper is bigger on the R32 than the Standard GTi/ED30

Got mine today  :pomppomp:, the correct VW p/n's for these are: 1K0 615 269 B, not what my dealer quoted me (above).
