The ultimate Dyno Graph thread
PDT:
Depends on the overall value of weather compensations on the day, the power of the car and other factors. it may not even be incorrect but 98.0 is extremely low for this time of year.
JKM wrote a bit about this here:
http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/dynotesting.htm
And based on the weather station in Surrey on this date, baro pressure was around 1014.0 but thats not to say that the pressure in the dyno room was the same, fans and extractors will change the BP. I made the mistake once of leaving my weather station in a box in the boot of my car and then testing a car on the dyno directly after using the info on the weather station before it had had a chance to settle. The weather station read much lower than the true BP and the car was over reading by approx 20%. a quick check of the atmospheric conditions found the problem.
I also had a faulty weather station, it reads around 15 lower on the BP than the Dyno Dynamics one, when testing cars with the incorrect BP figure they usually gain around 12% of power.
Its good practice to check the Bp on your weather station against the local weather stations readings. I now have 3 weather stations, 2 that are correct and I use to cross check each other and my faulty one that use to show people what effect the weather conditions can play on dyno results.
P.s my faulty one occasionally defaults to 98.0 and stays there for days before reading a different figure, this is what drew my attention to the 98.0 figure on your graph, its an odd figure to see at this time of year with the weather we have had lately.

Yup have queried it already, but it's how this dealer sets it up on the OE pump. I might up the timing and change to F9 and see how it goes

May be worth contacting them and letting them know their weather station could be faulty :happy2:

Will send Charlie your comment and see what he says :happy2:

I wouldn't worry about the figures Chungster got PDT given my TSI revo stage 2 we got around 9bhp less than the mk6 GTI you posted here 5 mins before ;)
PDT:
Not worried about figures, but if thete is a problem with the weather station at that dyno it would be nice to let them know
