So you ED 30 people do have to upgrade your hpfp as well as opting to add the RS4 valve, correct?

The addition of rs4 valve is optional when running a map that requests 130 bar and you should already have an uprated hpfp to provide the requested 130 bar.

OK, thanks. I have the hpfp, but I don't have the RS4 valve. Should I log data and check if needed, or just go ahead with the rs4 valve install. Also, which lpfp should I replace the in-tank pump with if needed?

I would just change the valve.
Your in tank pump should be able to cope if it's ok atm as the valve just makes your hpfp work a little harder.

Spot on

Some standard valves crack open too soon ie at 120-125 bar when the standard valve should be good to 130 bar.  Therefore your map could be requesting 129.9 bar and your standard valve crack open too early and not make the requested fuel rail pressure required/requested by your map. Consequence of this happening? Probably pulling timing/boost and reducing power.

The RS4 valve will crack open at 136 bar, so making your 129.9 bar requested fuel pressure possible.

+1  It allowed me to run higher rail pressure map upto 135bar 4000rpm onward, which gave me a better combustion and allowed a small window for more timing advance at the top end.

Am i correct in reading your torque to be 430nm Mike?
You've lost 90nm  :surprised:

hmmm, not sure after being without the car for so long its hard to say if the butt dyno agrees but I wondered if chaanging from 2.75" Miltek to 3" BF w/de-Cat would be enough for such a torque drop

your comparing two completely different dynos so you have to take it all with a pinch of salt.

For example stage 2+ REVO cars on JKMs DD rollers rarely see over 300lbft.  Take them to another dyno and they'll see 380lbft!!!
