Accelerate Car Detailing and Photography - Audi A4 3.0 Litre Quattro

Good Morning all.

As above. I had the pleasure of doing a Full Detail on a Audi A4 3.0 Litre Quattro.

Alright... Some befores so you can get a feel for the work done:



Scratched interior panels were polished with Meguires Swirl X and given a coat of Collonite. I love how they came out. So glossy!



Beading with no wax on... Polish only!



During the correction stage. Rear lights out as Algae was growing around the covers and I also wanted to wax the area behind the lights. As well as clean the inside of the lights out.



Removing rims for a good scrub and some sealant. I used Opti Seal for this.



An example of the state the leather and plastics were in. Yuk.



All this was found under the back seat... That said it isnt as bad as a BMW I did where I found lube and used condoms under the back seat...



All over the carpets and interior were stains like these... Juice I assume. All were removed.



Spare out for a clean seal as well as a clean up of the jack and a good seal of the paint.



General mess...



Holders were removed and scrubbed along with all the carpets...











Lifeless paint and lots of dings which were all sorted out...

So as you can see. A lot of effort but well worth the finished result.

I took the pics on route to see the partner. Took them on Durbanville Back roads.

The car recieved my Full Detail Package:

The owner was over the moon. This vehicle has just hit 200 000km and as the owner said... It is like a brand new car.

I dont actually. I have some pics from the rear though that show it being gone. Let me upload those.

The actual paint on the bumper had light cracks in it but only noticeable up close. The marks on the painted bit came off with a mixture of Meguires compund and some Poorboys Pro Clut Polish and a lot of rubbing by hand as the area was too concentrated to use the machine.

The only marks remaining were those where the the plastic unpainted bumper had been scratched as in dug into the plastic which I cant find. Thats a new lower valence. The ding on the door was the same... Marks removed but dent still there. I was tempted to remove the fender arches and nock it out but didnt have a proper jack and dont really trust the Audi jack.

Wow fantastic, I wish there were someone in London who could detail my Golf inside and out.
