A little Etka help please
« on: July 18, 2010, 10:35:56 am »
Not been too happy with the chequerplate trim in the R32 so its time for a change.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the trim from a standard GTI (plain brushed Aluminium I hope).

Cheers.  :happy2:

I thought of that but most tend to go with the door cards.

Well the Saint currently has my door trims and 2m of brushed Aluminium vinyl

Should that not work out my other options are new from dealer, gloss black or sprayed body colour.

We shall see.

So to return back to this.
I know the brushed Alu is Ed 30 so the stainless ones are the normal GTI I guess.

Can anyone confirm?

ebay has a lot of the trim pieces at the moment, seen one in piano black that I am tempted by, still thinking of wrapping mine as I have the R32 trim on the doors, but the normal trim on the dash,

I see them on ebay but by the time you have paid postage they are not much cheaper than the stainless ones and you don't know what you are getting until they turn up.

I think I will order some stainless ones and try and get a storage bin.
