Double check what the fixed service plan includes.

You may find cambelts & DSG are extra.

There have been a few threads on this.

Thanks for the help! Think I'm just going to get my mate at Audi to do it for me at a good price as a homer.

Anyone have a website where I can get a vw oem cambelt, waterpump and oil for the service cheap?

does this seem okay, what's the normal rrp on these parts?

Nipped to Seat Paderborn for a set of oem bosch plugs

Just checked my reciept, 63€ with 10% discount

 :confused:  Seems a little pricey.  oh well, Done now.

Am I right in thinking that every Vw dealership takes part in the fixed priced servicing? (£399 for cam belt and water pump replacement)

Most of them do - but as the small print says its up to the individual dealer whether they participate.

Just had my cambelt and water pump changed at and independent specialist who charged £385, he also told me that vw don't do a service pack for the byd engine code on an ed 30, anyone else been told this?

I did by an independent garage. Meant he wanted 480 to do the work. No thanks :P
