Whinging girlfriends

Does anybody else get tons of Grief whenever you buy anything or do anything to your car??! My girlfriends favorite one is "I'm sure you love that car more than me!"

LOL the secret is to either date a girl that loves them too, or just bring them around to your way of thinking!

I'm trying my best! The only thing she likes at the minute are the heated seats! I suppose that's a start!

Haha, I can see why this would annoy you blokes... Luckily both me and my boyf love cars so we understand each other perfectly! Although he does say that I love Luko (the GTI) more than him, haha

But I guess it must work both ways... girls that have boyfs with no interest in cars... My dad couldn't care less about them and doesn't understand why I bother spending so much money on mine...

My bf is forever doing/ changing bits and bobs on his car, I just let him get on with it rather than whinge... after all, I'm probably just as bad!

I think he gets a bit jealous sometimes when I spend too much 'quality time' with my car... I love it though.

.
I expect that most of the 'whinging' is actually just banter or teasing, mixed in with a bit of "please remind me that you love me" - We all want to feel loved. If the whinging gets serious and there's no smiles or grins, then the partner is someone who is insecure and needs to solve that issue - Either that or you really don't give enough attention to your partner anyway - You have to work at most relationships (which is why I'm not so good at them because I can't be arsed if things don't progress naturally of their own accord).
