iirc UK pumps get sent to APR Europe who do the same thing.

I could be wrong though and they may send them back to the US.

I bought two APR ones in the US last year on holiday.  I shipped them the ones to be upgraded before we went and had them shipped to the hotel whilst I was there.

If you only paid just over £100 for that pump anyway then it might be worth keeping as an upgradable unit.

thing is though it is quite easy to replace your fuel pump with an APR one, transfer the stickers and sell of the normal HPF as an APR upgrade

I've just looked at my Pump in the garage and it too has black internals.

If I remember correctly the collet that retains the spring is different.

Was just going to say i'm pretty sure all the APR Pumps have black Pistons due to the Diamond Coating they put on them.

If you look at the Link i posted earlier in the Thread it shows the pump stripped down highlighting what is replaced. That shows a Black Piston.

I would be dubious as to why it has a Silver Piston. It may well be upgraded (using Autotech Internals for example) but i would be inclined to say that isn't an APR one.

just had another look and noticed in all the images of the APR pumps I looked at the pump shaft is black, which is APR's diamond like coating apparantly , where as the picture shown and the std pump in front of me has a silver shaft, not sure this could be considered conclusive, just something I noticed

I posted that last night
