Handsfree Kits
« on: January 29, 2009, 08:08:47 pm »
Wanting to get a handsfree kit fitted, whats the best one to go for that works well in the gti.
in terms of fitting are there any extra adapters needed?
tbh would prefer an OEM system not really up to spec on golf knowledge yet!was there an OEM option with the standard headunit?

cheers

Do you have either the RNS-510 Touchscreen nav or Highline cluster display?

If so then VrStu's OEM bluetooth kit it the best option IMHO  :happy2:

Otherwise the likes of the Bury or Parrot kits are very good too

Have never managed to establish if its my parrot or phone.. but in general a few people I speak to with parrots have reported problems.

As SteveP says go for the OEM kit if possible.. its a little expensive but well worth it i would say.

^^^ The OEM bluetooth kit VrStu can supply does require at least one of these.

Otherwise my choice would be the bury touchscreen car kit (as posted above by Rob)
