Heritage is why the red stripe isn't lime green right now.

But I feel the 'GTI' is only great when the VW badge is silver. Doesn't as great otherwise. Might go down the ED30 route. How quick and easy was it to get the badge?

I have had my badge a while, but most dealers can order one and get it the next day, they were £7 odd plus vat, buy now there £9 odd plus vat

Ps, I too think the silver VW badge is needed

?, do you have a red VW sign now ? , the poster means the VW not the GTI ?, i think anyway, i deffintaley meant the VW badge anyway LOL, i do prefer the GTI in the silver /red combo

Had the car 4 years now ED 30 not even a twinkle in your eye then boy.  Would have picked it though.  Just have to go big TURBO instead. :laugh: :wink:

Oi!! Hurdy is nowhere near as old (and wise) as I am!

If the Ed30 had been available in 2005 when I ordered my GTI, I'd have definitely had one. But I'm totally happy with what I've got (because I'm a wise elder) :grin:
