surely these would be the same for the ED30 / S3 and GTI golf?

Or are the ED30/S3 specific?

Personally i'd run a copper plug going from my experience of Iridium/platinum plugs (expensive, can be the cause of most miss-fire cases on turbocharged cars)

I dont know what the Golf copper plug code is though...

OEM spark plugs are platinum ones by default...had no problems.

Hi Dav - what kind of problems could I expect?  I'm running Stage 2 and haven't experienced any issue, but that may be down to me not knowing what to look out for.

Cheers.

Usually the cause of high rev/boost miss-fire's, not every car has a problem but it CAN develop over time or if you fit new plugs.

I only ever use copper plugs in cars.
