The higher the tune the smaller the gap to prevent pre ignition.

Pre gapped at just over 0.8mm you can reduce to 0.7mm for a stage 2

Pre igniton is caused by the wrong grade, if you have this you need a colder plug i.e. an 8, if the gap is too big the boost just blows it out also causing a missfire. ime.
