Fitting a bigger engine

Hi guys need a bit of advice from the gurus out there. Would I be able to put anything bigger than
my 2.0 tdi engine in the same place. Would still stay diesel though and in the vag range

any thing is possible if you have the time and money to put into it...I was thinking the same maybe next year of putting a 3.o tdi audi engine in but it will cost a fortune so i am going down the hybrid turbo route

I'd be looking at something with the same mounts. Wanted to know if the bigger
engined were transversly mounted like the 2.0 litre one mines got
