Blue, when you say ‘the lot’ do you mean that VW made a full brushed ali console kit like the R32 but matching ours cars? :confused:

the brushed alu lid is harder to find. and i can confirm that Nath's and Markymark's are this type.

I bought this as a cheap alternative to see what it was like, and it has stayed perfectly flat and smooth. Not bad for a fiver.

Hi guys the part number for the lid only is 1K0857351D44U, I paid £25.96 all in from my dealers. The part is actually aluminised plastic, I thought it was the wrong one to start with but its not!  :happy2:
