I ordered mine from from my VW dealer with no issues it was £27.91 inc VAT
Here's the guide to changing the top: -

I bought this as a cheap alternative to see what it was like, and it has stayed perfectly flat and smooth. Not bad for a fiver.

Hi Top Cat,
Was it easy to apply... in situ or take out? Also is it high gloss or matt finish? Looks like a quick option that gets the desired effect.
I’m tempted, where did you buy mate?

^^ i posted a link on page one mate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=110343671641
there just a thick stick on vinyl, clean area, remove backing and put it on
Top Cat:
Hot rod you just remove the lid give it a really good clean then just spend time locating properly you can use water with a touch of soap to move it about, as its hard to line up exactly. then just keep rubbing with a soft cloth until the bubbles dissipate.
I managed to do a decent job so it cant be that hard. :rolleye:
