Also new here

Hi everyone

New to this forum stuff. On my 2nd Mk5 GTI as of last week as had to swap my lovely red 3 dr for a 5 dr due to family requirements. Life without the GTI wasn't an option so went for the 5 door, well it's much more fun than a Volvo!

Tested a R32 and a GTI with a DSG but came back to the 'good old' manual GTI. DSG seemed too much hassle and preferred the 'boost' of the GTI. Just sorting out some 18" Monza wheels and will be back to normal service!

Cheers. :happy2:

Welcome. A 5dr makes life so much easier with friends and family.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Give it time mate, make sure you use all the modes especially manual mode with paddles.

Give it time, Cap. It took me 4 months to gel with my DSG, came from an Impreza STi PPP and it was a difficult transition. Came close to swapping to a manual.
