hi guys well i should be getting my bluefin that i orderd from jkm on friday cant wait to install it im just a little worred about doing it as im not to much of a wiz on computers i know people say it is easy to do but just wandering if there is anyone on here who has done it and how easy is it really ???? thanks guys

i done it last week its easy you just plug it into your car follow the instructions on the screen then when its done unplug it plug it into your computer make sure you download the software first. Click the bluefin program on the computer, fill out your details then click connect and it will upload your original map to them, then you just wait till you get an email from them, then you plug it back into the computer it will then download the new map onto the handset then all you do is plug it into the car and follow the on screen instructions and your car is mapped

thanks stu im glad to hear you think it makes a good bit off diffrence i was going to get revo but when i went in to the dealer he wanted £590 i thought this was a little steep when i could get a bluefin for £400 from jkm i just cant wait to do it  :laugh:

i got my bluefin for £250 you should have looked in the for sale section ppl sell them all the time revo is meant to be better but for half the price which is what i paid it wasnt worth the extra for me

Well at least she gets a new one with warranty etc :-) , anyway to the op the only problem you may have is downloading the map from the superchips server , just try it first, if you can't connect then you can email them the file from your unit and they send you back a modified one via email and you can load this onto the unit

It's super easy to use, just follow the instructions carefully and you'll have no issues.
Then you'll want to fit an intake and exhaust.
Then you'll want to go stage 2. Only a £50 upgrade...

Yeah - and if you get it on a Friday in the afternoon - their servers are offline(!) all weekend so you have to wait until Monday - as I found out...

well im happy to say i installed it today and it was fairly stright forward just had 1 little problem but a phone call to superchips soon sorted it out  :smiley: and wow what a diffrence it has made it feels like a diffrent car and like you guys say i would quite like to go stage 2 now but im thinking i will just stick to the stage 1 for a while think the front tires are going to need changing a little sooner than i thought  :signLOL: thanks for your help guys !!

Just incase your quick question to Superchips was related to this issue, I thought I had best let you all know  :happy2:
Superchips recently changed to a new Broadband supplier to improve their service.
Superchips IP address has now changed so older versions of Bluefin Desktop Software will not be unable to connect to the Superchips server.
 
The latest software (Currently Version 3.5.2.4) resolves this and is available from this link if you need it: http://www.mybluefin.co.uk/software

Hello, just out of curiousity, what do the edition 30's usually make on your rollers with a stage 1 bluefin map? as an average? I figured you would be the best person to ask as you provide both forms of remap?

At Jkm's rollers, mine made 284.6bhp,305lb ft with just a cat back Milltek. Green cotton filter in the OEM airbox on stage 1 Bluefin

No other mods at that time.

Yet to see what its doing with stage 2 and downpipe this time.
