I've done a search but have not really found the info i need, I have the ability to change some of the functions like coming home lights, footwell brightness, auto door locking etc etc...does this mean I have the highline dash? Or do these functions come with the midline?

If you can change those functions then you have a highline, midline just gives you the trip computer.  The other acid test is do you get a little picture of the car when a door is open, rather than a light.  If you do then thats highline.

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

I'll have a look when i leave work but i think i do have the pic of car open doors   :jumping:

Shame I dont have Xenons, Armrest, Folding mirrors & its not an ED30 - then i would have the perfect car  :signLOL:

Black 2007 GTI Manual, Stage 3 K04, R32 Bumper/Exhaust, WALK, adj rear ARB, KW1's, Twintercooler, Twintake, 18's (winters), 19's (summer) modified dectane LED rear lights, NQSBBK, Forge dump valve, Xenon look headlights with 5000k HID, 3" downpipe with sports cat, TT wishbones, uprated HPFP, Sach Uprated Clutch, Quaife LSD, VT & THS Engine Mounts.

Sorry for butting in but can someone explain why my display has a plastic line  seaparating the display screen
But i still see icons and a tiny picture of  the car in the top section.
Is that midline?
I thought when you have midline you only had info and icons in the lower half of the display

If it has a line seperating the two screens that sounds like a midline. The highline was like the piccy above.

I thought so,
Can you believe the last owner ticked almost every option, spent nearly 29k, and left out the highline  :stupid:

Yep your right. It was VW being tight if you ask me.

From what I have read its a total pain to get one retro installed.

Not difficult - it's easy to swap the units over. The coding is the bit that takes effort.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
