Would you not consider a standard GTI? Only reason I say this is one of the members (WhiteGTI) has the following for sale:

2008 57 Plate Golf GTI
26,000 miles, Candy White, Manual, 18" Monza II wheels, Luxury Package, Cruise Control, Folding Exterior Mirrors, Highline Computer, Front Centre Armrest, Colour-Coded front lip, side skirts and rear bumper.

To be honest chaps, I don't blame you at all! Had I had the funds for a ED30 when I was buying then I would have got one hands down! Good luck with the search  :happy2:
