17" monza torx wheel nuts?
« on: August 07, 2010, 01:22:46 pm »
Hi All,

I have just tried to remove one of wheels and all the nuts are torx head not the standard bolt with 1 x locking wheel nut? The upshot is the kit in the boot is pretty much useless  :stupid:

It seems these have been changed by the previous owner/garage as they are easier to fit using an pneumatic wrench. My question is what is the best way to get the buggers off, does anyone know if you can buy a torx head wheel brace, or can you get an adapter for the standard wheel brace.

Thanks!

Come on! Even I knew the car had wheel nut covers.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
